Bosham (GB)

Bosham just loved front-running at Chelmsford! He joined us in 2014 having previously won at Brighton and Kempton.

Bosham was a special character, and didn't like travelling alone so he often took a companion with him if he was our only runner.

He won twice in 2015 under the lights at Wolverhampton in August and September. Bosham hit an amazing streak of form in 2016 when he won five times at Chelmsford City. Whilst the papers wrote him off as an all weather horse in August he popped up at Beverley to win his sixth race of the year and in 2017 he won at Catterick!

Back on his favoured all-weather Bosham won at Wolverhampton in April 2018 given a great front-running ride by Harrison Shaw, and a week later he followed up at Lingfield. Harrison and Bosh teamed up again at Chelmsford in May to record yet another win at his favourite track.

At home Bosham would either have a good canter round the pit or a blast up the hill with Janice riding.

In 2019 Bosham retired and went to live with his owner near Driffield.
