We head to Scotland on Monday with four runners for the penultimate flat meeting of the year in East Lothian.

The Resdev Scholar has run consistently without winning this year and he tackles the 100% Racing TV Profits Back To Racing Selling Stakes. A Class 2 contest, horses carry level weights with a three pound penalty for races won. The winner will be sold by auction for a minimum of £15,000 and the minimum claiming price is £40,000.

Storm Call has dropped down the weights and she runs in the Musselburgh Emerald Club Handicap. She ran her best race since joining us from Karl Burke last summer when fourth at Southwell over six furlongs last time and she drops back to five this time. Now rated 62, Storm Call is some 25 pounds below her career high mark of 87.
The Melissa, Arabella And Oriana Hawthorne Handicap has divided and we have a horse in each division. Despite his finishing position Carolus Magnus was beaten just three lengths last time at Newcastle and he now returns to turf and runs in Division I of the race. He's not won since 2021 when he recorded two victories at Newmarket and he's now 27 pounds lower in the handicap than when winning from a rating of 85 four years ago.

Carlton and Co, a winner at Redcar over six furlongs in July, will run in Division II of the race. Last time out she ran here over seven and she stays at the same trip although the ground shouldn't be as soft this time. The six-year-old mare is a consistent performer and with a rating of 57 she's five pounds below her highest winning mark when successful at Newcastle two years ago.
Refuge is in his veteran years and is also tumbling down the ratings. He runs in the Watch On Racing TV Handicap from a mark of just 48, ten pounds lower than the rating from which he won at Beverley in July 2024. Refuge's first career win came over this course and distance back in 2020 and he relishes his trips to Scotland, having recorded five of his seven victories north of the border including four wins at Hamilton. At eight years of age he doesn't have the pace of his younger years but he ran a better race last time when finishing midfield at Catterick on soft ground.
,br. Ski Angel will be a warm order in the race having bolted up over course and distance twelve days ago. She was only raised four pounds for her efforts and was eased down at the finish, the official winning distance of four and three quarter lengths could easily have been more. Ridden again by claimer Andrew Breslin she will take some beating if reproducing that form.
