In 2023 we rehomed a magnificent grey gelding called Minneapolis Sound. He gave us a lot of fun even before he raced, as his original name that was submitted to the BHA was refused. His owners wanted to call him Jungle Love but this was met with a resounding 'no' from the BHA. We're still unsure why this was refused, but to keep everyone happy the name Minneapolis Sound was chosen instead.
Sadly Jungle Love, sorry, Minneapolis Sound, didn't really cut it on the racecourse and we made him available for rehoming after he finished ninth at Wetherby in June 2023.
It only took one viewing to find him a home and he was rehomed with Ellie, who sent us some pictures and video this week.
"I can't believe I've had him for two years!" she said. "He's a big lad now standing at 17 hands. He's going very well. He's such a pleasure to own I've just started jumping him which loves and has real scope! I'm really looking forward to getting him out and about."
