It's been a long seven weeks but Joanna Mason is finally back from injury.
Yesterday evening she had her first ride back since fracturing her distal fubula in a freak gallops accident.
Joanna ride Carolus Magnus in the 7.50 at York on Friday evening. However, all didn't go to plan and the horse trailed in last after the saddle slipped.
"It was so annoying. I was just lucky I stayed on," said Joanna after the race. "The ankle is good though".
Joanna is booked to ride Mister Camacho at York this afternoon.
